1999 – Mr. Siva Gounder receives his medical degree from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education in Manipal, India.
2005 – The Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh awards Mr. Gounder with membership.
2007 – Mr. Siva Gounder completes his Postgraduate Specialist Surgery Training at the University of Malaya.
- After finishing his training at the University of Malaya, Mr. Gounder migrated to Perth, WA. He underwent further specialised advanced surgical training in all major Perth Hospitals through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons training program.
2015 – The Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons is awarded to Mr. Gounder.
2016 – Mr. Gounder completes his Bariatric Surgery Fellowship in North Shore Hospital, Auckland. The Obesity Surgery Society of Australia and New Zealand accredited bariatric surgery training program is the only one in New Zealand where the Laparoscopic Duodenal Switch operation is performed. This placed Mr. Siva Gounder at the forefront of surgical technology.
