Siva is originally from Malaysia and has made Perth home since 2007. He completed his medical degree in Manipal Academy of Higher education in 1999. He returned to Malaysia and completed his postgraduate specialist surgery training in General Surgery from University of Malaya in 2007 and prior to that he was awarded membership with the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2005.
Terri is an experienced Dietitian, with an extensive career of over 30 years. She has worked in both private practice and hospital settings across WA. Her interest in bariatric nutrition began in 2009, and since then, Terri has dedicated herself to providing specialised and practical advice to clients before and after surgery. Her main objective is to ensure clients are well-prepared for the surgery, make healthier long-term meal choices, maintain the right balance of nutrients throughout their journey, and confidently overcome any obstacles with her guidance and support.
Shane is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with over 12 years of experience in applying the best evidence-based exercise programs. Shane helps clients find a sustainable exercise routine to ensure they can keep a life-long healthy lifestyle. Shane is well equipped to help you manage and overcome injuries i.e. hip, knee osteoarthritis, plantar fasciopathy and lower back pain that may be impacting your mobility. Additionally, Shane can factor in considerations for health conditions i.e. diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure.
Katie Lee Elliot is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist. Katie is passionate about providing psychological support to those undergoing bariatric surgery. With over a decade of experience, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Community Development, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology.
